I Love Swedish bands! Especially The Radio Dept. The group named it after a gas-station-turned-radio-repair-shop called "Radioavdelningen" (The Radio Department in Swedish). I first heard of them when i was in Thailand of all places and saw their 'Pulling Our Weight' music video on television. With I think 8 Ep's and 3 albums since 1995, The Radio Dept. have gone through alot of changes. Starting out as a 2 piece, then going through 7 other members, they are now a 3 piece consisting of Johan Duncanson, Martin Larsson and Daniel Tjader. The sound they produce has a kind of a raw vibe to it with a subtle ambience feel. To some of their songs, I'd say its like having a whole bunch of Soothers in your mouth, then drinking a glass of ice water on a cold, frosty Melbourne winters day. Now Thats Ice Fresh!
